While the concept of halal traditionally centered around food products, it now extends into pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, textiles, finance, logistics, and tourism. This article explores the importance of establishing a unified halal accreditation framework in Uzbekistan, taking lessons from global models such as the Halal Accreditation Agency (HAK) of Turkey, and emphasizing the role of international collaboration through platforms like the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC).
